I'm here right now at Raffles City and I have got something to admit. I have no idea how to do shopping for clothes.

It's been a long time since I came shopping. Just before I came Raffles City, I was at Funan shopping for my tech gadgets. I got myself a 5m RJ45 wire and a travel pack of USB devices with a microphone.

I thought the cashier was cute when she was trying to promote Challenger Membership. I agreed anyway. I suspect that I will be returning to Challenger sometimes, so I believe 2 years membership will benefit me.

After that, I made my way to Raffles City and was trying to do some shopping. It was then I realised, I have no idea how to shop for clothes. I need to get myself a cap and Im seriously having some difficulty here... HELP!!!~~~~~~~

Anyway, I'm seated at Gloria Jean's Coffees.

But the strangest thing is that there's this weird woman walking around in front of me talking to herself.

Yup! That's her! Seriously, what do you think she is doing? Well anyway, that's none of my business. I'm rather interested in the girl diagonally across me on the left. She looks rather cute to me.

Well, I'm going to make my way to Suntec. Or I may just go home... I think I'll just go home. Tomorrow I still have to wake up early.

Oh yes, I got a M1 mobile broadband from my boss this afternoon. That's why I am able to get into the internet now. LOVING IT TOO!!!

I beginning to think that software patents are really stupid. Getting software patents is like patenting the law of gravity.

Softwares all boils down to mathematical equations. How can anybody patent Math? It's pure logic and a fact of nature. Yet, I can't believe even math got patented. US Patent #6,434,582 has Cosine patented. Nobody can use this equation without permission from the patent holder.

This is stupid! Now even when the keyboard is press, it must not make a sound, especially Caps Lock. United States Patent 6748468 make it that no sound must come out from Caps Lock when it is pressed unless you have permission.

I would say, this is my computer and I will do what I want with it. My computer will make all the sound it wants. I will read whatever file formats I want. I don't care about MP3 patent or GIF patent.

Fortunately, better formats exist. OGG and FLAC beats MP3 and PNG beats GIF. I don't need some stinky formats with patent.

2 computers breaking down at the same time is really heart breaking. First, my dear dear got hospitalized. Then another desktop got corrupted OS files. This is really heartbreaking. For the whole week, I was so moody.

But this Thursday, I got a new laptop. My first time using NEC. I don't even know this brand exist. My first time working on Vista environment and starting to hate it already.

The feature that really pissed me off is UAC. My critical programmes are not functional with this feature turned on. I could find no solution anywhere except to disable UAC. There's just no option to run the programme in administrator mode.

But other than that, I think I quite like it. Just need to get used to the new environment. I've been using XP too much. A lot of my programmes are not functional now. I really miss processguard.

I'm waiting for my dear dear to return back to me. Hopefully she will not be jealous of NEC. NEC is really a good platform for me to do my work but my dear dear is the best when it comes to games. Superior graphics and stable OS.

That stupid dragon scroll is really just an empty goal for warriors to strive for. And when finally they got to be the best out of all other warriors, when they receive the scroll, all that they have realised is that the power is all in them all these while.

There is no secret kungfu. There is no secret ingredient. There's only you!

Ok! To translate to modern terms, it means goal setting. That's it! Make an empty goal in our own mind. No cash, no fame, no nothing! Just plain empty goal. And before you realised it, you have mastered the skill before others and be the most powerful noodle hawker, taxi driver, etc...

We are all designed this way. Our mind is created to strive for greatness and desire.

Heart pain heart pain! My dearest is sick on Monday! She was feeling well the whole night and in the morning as well. Just when it was going afternoon, it fell sick.

Told boss quickly that I need to take half-day off just to send her to the hospital. So when I reach Funan, I quickly told the nurse of her symptoms. I didn't care about the cost. I just needed her to be feeling okay again.

It was heart pain when the nurse told me that my dear dear have to warded for about 3-4 days. Oh well! I thought maybe a week is fine. I'll just miss her for a week.

After awhile, I received a call from the doctor that the medication is out of stock. They have to order and it will take about 1-2 weeks to arrive. SHIT!

I'm going into depression soon. I can't live without her! What am I going to do without her?

Oh by the way, she is my laptop!

The week has been very tiring for me. There's so many things to handle, with so little time to handle. I can say with certainty that this week is the craziest week of this year so far.

First, I moved to a new office. Only boss and I moved. The rest of my colleagues are still waiting for the other new office to be ready. This resulted in distance in communication. Especially since I am collaborating with 1 of my colleagues in 1 project, we couldn't get things done. Not until I returned on Friday, that we got in sync again.

Then we also failed to deliver a product to our client. The entire site was completed but it was not what client wanted. So we had a major problem here. It felt like a waste of time, a waste of life. We did so much but it never made a difference.

On Friday night, I was getting updated with news on the net. That's when I found the stupidest patent. What is the matter with visual linking? This technique has been around for ages and everybody is using it. It's an OBVIOUS technique, not their innovation, used by every website. The law really need to get updated with technology. They better not send me any letter until they send one to Microsoft, Yahoo and Google first.

Next, I have to start planning for Inet. This is my baby in the cradle. I've watched it grow since I joined this club in 2005. Now, the committee is expanding with 4 Excos. I'm proud of Inet. I'm going to push it further and pass on every knowledge I have before I let it go.
